Very good stay Positive: Had everything u needed, very pretty and new and very good location

Great Location, but Quite Noisy Positive: The location is good and very central, but the area can be quite noisy. The windows are well insulated, though, so you don’t hear the music too loudly in the bedroom. Unfortunately, you can hear almost everything happening in the hallway. We stayed on a Saturday night, and someone had forgotten their room key, so there were people shouting and knocking on neighbouring doors throughout the night, which was quite disturbing. We were also asked to provide either a non-refundable £25 security fee or a refundable £150 deposit. We found this quite excessive and unnecessary. We understand that people come to this area to drink and party, but treating every guest as a potential cause of damage feels a bit excessive and does not create the best first impression.

Location, Location, Locatian Positive: +++ Location +++ Shower ++ Kitchenette Negative: Stayed in the heatwave and it was stifling without any form of cooling. Had to sleep with the window open, right above All Bar One. However it was circumstantial due to the weather.

Would have rated this apartment a 10 if it had air conditioning Positive: The apartments location was great - everything you’d need within less than 5min walk. The apartment was spacious Negative: Unfortunately the only window on the apartment opened on to two beer gardens - not SevenStays fault but the apartment became extremely hot and stuffy if the window was closed and extremely noisy until the bars closed somewhere between 3-4am! making it impossible to sleep with the window open! Airconditioning would have made sleep possible with the window closed to block out the noise! The mattress seemed quite old with springs pushing into your body - we placed a doona under the bottom sheet to make it more comfortable which helped a luttle
