Negative: I stayed here for one night and unfortunately had one of the worst night’s sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel. There is a nightclub directly opposite, and the bass travelled straight through the walls and windows until around 6:30–7:00am. It felt as though the music was inside the room. I didn’t sleep at all. The property did provide earplugs in the room, but they were completely insufficient — the music was so loud that it cut straight through them. What made this more disappointing is that the level of noise is not stated clearly in the listing. Saying the area is “vibrant” doesn’t prepare guests for nightclub-level bass all night long. Hotels in busy areas can still be well soundproofed — this one simply isn’t. I contacted the property afterwards and received a polite response, but ultimately no meaningful resolution. I wasn’t offered a refund, despite the stay being effectively unusable for its main purpose: rest. Even if you’re not a light sleeper, the noise is intense enough to affect anyone. I would strongly recommend choosing elsewhere unless the property updates their listing to accurately reflect the noise situation or improves the soundproofing. and give realistic expectations.
