Check out the area first, late night partying + early hour trucks. Positive: Not much. Negative: It did not feel cared for. Very stark. One only larger cup for tea or coffee. I had to pay a very large damage deposit. That should have been a flag to me. I did get it back quickly after the rental period. That was nice. Now… we were on Bold Street, and… this was “freshers week”… that’s our mistake. But I don’t think this location would be quiet any time. It’s basically a party area and it’s pedestrian only except for 5:00 to 9:00. Then it’s open to vehicles. Noise/partying was until 2:00, and wound down to 4:00. Then… and it’s almost funny… about 500 to 5:30 the trucks rolled in on the street. It had been opened to traffic for a few hours. Loud unloading and restocking of shops, and lots of work in a short few hours. Directly below us was some construction work being done. I’ve been in building for 30+ years. I knew the tools… a jackhammer, angle grinder on some metal and then a pressure washer. Then a huge crash… we looked at each other and laughed, it was crazy… an experience :) We hunted and found a new place and gave up the next two nights paid for, and didn’t occupy the property. It’s a learning… and, the place felt barren and not “cared” for. The next place was great, and almost the same layout.

Great stay , great city Positive: Great location

Pleasant 😊 Positive: It is in the middle of the City Centre, very accessible to everything. Good communication with the hosts. Negative: Very hot esp in summer, no AC nor fan 🥲,, since it is near pubs expect that the noise level is over the top, but for me it is manageable. You would need to close all the windows to reduced the noise level but that wpuod meqn roasting inside the room since no ac nor fan available. Hopefukly they could add AC in the near future or even air cooler to make the stay comfy.
